Paumier brings over two decades of experience in commercial insurance, business consulting, and workforce strategy, with a reputation for helping organizations strengthen operations, grow sustainably, and lead with clarity.
The bulk of Paumier’s career was spent in the commercial insurance industry, where he worked closely with business owners to assess risk, develop customized coverage plans, and build long-term strategies to support sustainable growth. His deep understanding of business operations and his consultative approach naturally aligns with Summit Bank’s client-first model.
In his new role, Paumier will work directly with business clients to deliver customized lending, deposit, and treasury management solutions—while also serving as a trusted advisor for long-term planning, succession, and expansion strategies. He will focus on business development, relationship management, and deepening the Bank’s ties across the Central Oregon business community.

Prior to joining Summit Bank, Paumier was the founder and principal consultant of Paumier Strategic Solutions, where he advised business owners on leadership transitions, team development, and operational excellence. His well-rounded experience makes him uniquely positioned to support clients across a wide range of industries and business stages.
Outside of work, Paumier is a passionate community advocate. He is the Board President of the Central Oregon Employers Council, on the board of Central Oregon SHRM, and is an active Board of Director for Opportunity Knocks and City Club of Bend. His volunteer leadership reflects his belief that strong businesses and strong communities go hand in hand.
