Dr. Patty Buehler is a surgeon and small business owner in Central Oregon. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in 1986. After earning her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, she went on to attain a masters of public health degree at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. As an active community member, she sits on the board of directors of the Bend Surgery Center, the Bend Surgery Center Foundation, and Lines for Life. She volunteers for EyeCare America, Volunteers in Medicine, and Operation Sight. Dr. Buehler enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years, Dr. Knute Buehler, an orthopedic surgeon, and state legislator. They have two grown kids and two spoiled dogs.
