As a former director and founding President & Chief Executive Officer of Summit Bank, Ann Marie Mehlum brings institutional knowledge, outstanding leadership and banking expertise to our board of directors. In her recent role as Associate Administrator of Capital Access at the US Small Business Administration, Mehlum oversaw SBA programs that provide access to capital for American small businesses and a portfolio that exceeded $100 billion. Along with her experience at the U.S. Small Business Administration in Washington D.C., Mehlum has three decades of community banking experience that include the founding of Summit Bank. She has also held numerous board leadership positions, and served on the FDIC Community Bank Advisory Council, the Oregon Bankers Association and the Treasury CDFI Advisory Board. Locally, she has served on many non-profit boards including the United Way of Lane County and the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, she was inducted into the State of Oregon Bankers Hall of Fame for lifetime contributions to the banking industry.
