Summit Bank is demonstrating a commitment to the downtown Portland business community by signing a new 10-year lease on the 17th floor of the Koin Tower. The Bank is currently located on the second floor of the same building. The relocation will allow for an upgraded 8,000-square-foot office space. With this new location in Portland, Summit Bank continues its mission to become Oregon’s bank of choice for businesses and nonprofits in the Portland/Southwest Washington community.
The move is in line with a long-term vision for economic revitalization of the downtown core. “This lease reflects Summit Bank’s commitment to downtown Portland,” says Craig Wanichek, President and CEO. “It represents a strategic investment in Summit Bank’s future in the Portland market and reflects our confidence in the City of Portland’s potential. We are proud to be part of the downtown community and Multnomah County. We are excited about the possibilities that our new location in the Koin Tower presents. This space will allow us to deepen our relationships with our clients and expand our banking services in an area in which we are extremely committed.”
Echoing this sentiment, Commercial Banking Team Lead Brian Thomas said, “The new office space in the Koin Tower signals our dedication to the local business and nonprofit community. Local Banks are an integral part of a thriving community. We want to be part of the solution and support Portland’s revival. We are here to stay, help our clients and contribute positively to Portland’s growth.”
Summit Bank’s move to the 17th floor will enhance its downtown office and provide ample space for continued growth to better serve Portland and SW Washington. The new space will feature a vibrant entertainment and community room area that clients can utilize, further demonstrating a strong commitment to its partners and the community.
